Abstract

This podcast series will be a look at American true-crime cases. Like its popular UK counterpart, They Walk Among Us, and the fastest podcast ever to reach 5 million downloads, Serial, A·EMIRC·A will explore infamous and notorious American crimes that will have the listeners chilled with mystery and anticipation. The podcast will cover America's greatest solved and unsolved murders, kidnappings, heists, and shootings. Starting in 1947 with the murder of Elizabeth Short, The Black Dahlia, then tracing in chronological order to the death of Adolph Coors III, The Lindbergh Kidnapping, The Lana Turner Affair of 1958, The Tate-Labianca Murders of 1969, the Ted Bundy murders, Jeffrey Dahmer’s 1991 murders, The Murder of Jon Benet Ramsey in 1996, The Versace Killing Spree of 1997, Mary Kay Letourneau's forbidden love in 1998, and into the 21st century with the sad saga of Andrea Yates in 2001.
