I ask that you attend media events, such as film screenings or digital workshops or museum exhibitions with a digital component. Please attend 2 media events throughout the semester and draft a 250-word blog post to describe the event and your experience of it. A final completion grade will be assigned at the end of semester or when you have completed your 2-blog post reports.

 

You may also attend a third media event and follow the same assignment to receive extra credit. This will make up for a missed class or missed contribution to the Google Doc, whichever would boost your grade the most.

 

Make sure your blog post includes:

• A description of the event

• Your reaction or what you learned

• Thoughts about how it relates to what we’ve learned in class

• Three non-text elements!
