*You are required to attend the screenings or complete them on your own in consult with the professor.*

 

Throughout the semester, you are responsible for responding to at least 6 of our 12 screening sessions via an informal blog post to be posted periodically to the class blog and on your website, should you choose. Although informal, these blog posts should be at least 250 words in length. You should reflect upon your experience of the film/episode, its relationship to the topics we address in class each week, and any formal/aesthetic qualities you are drawn to within the particular medium.

You should post your "review" to the class blog after the Thursday screening but before the next class. We will address your thoughts at the beginning of Tuesday's class each week.

 

However, a final completion grade will be assigned at the end of semester or when you have completed at least 6 screening posts.
